Richard Gardner, Owner/Doctor of Physical Therapy Board Certified Specialist in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy
Richard Gardner is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, and a board-certified specialist in orthopaedic physical therapy. Plus, he’s an owner of Specialized Physical Therapy. Richard has been practicing physical therapy since 2013. He grew up in Rogers, AR and has always dreamed of opening a clinic in his home town. Richard speaks Spanish and the clinic staff is bilingual.
Richard regularly attends post-graduate continuing-education programs on the treatment of individuals with sports injuries, chronic pain, motor vehicle accidents, post-surgical care, back pain, neck pain, and more. In addition, he is certified in the application of trigger point dry needling. He is passionate about providing the best care to every patient.
“I believe the best outcomes are achieved in physical therapy when the use of manual therapy (hands-on treatments) are used in conjunction with specific exercises. This combination relieves pain and corrects the underlying muscular dysfunction”, explains Richard.
When not in clinic Richard enjoys spending time with his wife Michelle and their three kids. In addition, he enjoys roasting his own coffee and perfecting his home barista skills.
Evan Loomis, Doctor of Physical Therapy
Evan Loomis is a Doctor of Physical Therapy. He graduated in 2019 from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. He is also a certified practitioner of dry needling. Evan is passionate about helping patients understand their recovery process and empowering people to do what they love. Outside of work, Evan enjoys spending time with his wife and son, being active with his church community, strength training, fishing, woodworking, and other outdoor activities.
Hannah Hatcher, Doctor of Physical Therapy
Hannah is a native to the Austin, TX metroplex. She completed both her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Physical Therapy in Arkansas at Harding University. After graduating in 2018, she began her physical therapist journey as a traveling therapist, spending most of her time at clinics in the desert and mountains of New Mexico.
She is passionate about Physical Therapy and the opportunity it provides to impact the community. To her, being a physical therapist is being a stepping stone in projecting others toward overcoming their injury by guiding them in the restoration of their function and returning them back to their usual lifestyle activities that brings joy to their life.
Hannah enjoys treating a large variety of orthopedic, sport, and post-operative injuries. She likes to use a blend of hands-on manual therapy skills with exercises specifically tailored to meet the need of the individual to restore optimal function. She is also certified in Functional Dry Needling and has found great results as an adjunct to her therapy skill sets. While being a traveling therapist brought on many great experiences, Hannah is excited to lay her roots down here in NW Arkansas. Outside the clinic she enjoys partaking in activities such as hiking, camping, traveling, working out, and visiting local coffee shops.
Tim Barnard, Massage Therapist
Tim Barnard is a Licensed Massage Therapist. He grew up in Rogers and has been practicing massage therapy for 15 years. He specializes in deep tissue, cupping, medical massage, and sports massage. Tim has worked with a wide variety of athletes, bodybuilders, and weekend warriors. Tim enjoys doing massage to help clients who are in pain, recovering from injuries, or experiencing stress. Massage therapy speeds up the healing process, improves circulation, and can even restore emotional balance. When he is not in the clinic Tim enjoys spending time with his wife Angela and their three children, hiking, camping and riding bikes
Gigi Rojas, Patient Care Representative
Gigi is the Patient Care Representative at Specialized Physical Therapy, and she is ready to assist patients in their physical therapy journey! She was born and raised in Costa Rica and has been a member of the NWA community since 2011. Gigi has spent over 20 years working in customer service and human resources including holding a Senior Fraud Analyst position at Western Union. She has a PHD in Psychology, graduated from National University of Costa Rica. In her free time, she works on genealogy research, enjoys going for a run on one of many trails in the local area, and practices yoga. She loves any activity outdoors and is especially proud of her son who is currently attending college.
Brooks Parham, Physical Therapy Tech
Brooks graduated from Hendrix College in 2021 with a degree in Health Sciences. He aspires to have a career in sports medicine and is currently in the process of graduate school applications for both Athletic Training and Physical Therapy. Brooks enjoys contributing to making the patient experience as smooth and comfortable as possible in any way he can. Outside of work, Brooks enjoys visiting local NWA coffee shops with his wife, reading, golf, and bike rides on the local trails.
